User: Add and Edit Users

Add a new user

  1. Click Admin.

  2. Click User.

  3. Click New User.

  4. Fill out the form with the new user's information.
  5. Click Save.

Note: After you have created a new user, the email activation is sent automatically that they can use to activate their account and create a password. The email will be coming from info@enquiresolutions.com and may need to check their Junk/Spam folders.

If the User is reporting troubles receiving the activation email, You are able to re-send it by clicking the blue Activate button.

Add location access

  1. Navigate to the desired user.
  2. In the Locations Assigned section, click the grey + Add Location button.

  3. Check the box next to the locations you would like to assign to the user or click the checkbox next to "Select All" to assign all available locations to the user. If you have a large number of locations, use the search bar along the top of the drop down to narrow the list of available locations. Click the green Save button.

Editing a User

Need to make changes to your team? Follow these steps to edit users in your EnquireLEADS database.

  1. Navigate to the Admin Section by clicking Admin from the left hand menu.

  2. From the Admin Menu, select User.

  3. Navigate to the user you would like to edit and click on their name to view their detail page.
  4. In the upper right of the user detail page, click the blue Edit button Edit_user_button.png
  5. Make the necessary changes then click the blue Save button to confirm your changes. Edit_User_Page.png

NOTE: We DO NOT recommend replacing names on accounts because it will affect all historical data for that account, for example, all activities will be updated to the new name on the account. We advise creating new accounts for new users. See below on re-purposing email addresses for your users.

Re-purpose a User email

EnquireLEADS requires that everyone has a unique email address. If you need to re-purpose an email on an existing user, follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to the Admin Section by clicking Admin from the left hand menu.adminloc.png
  2. From the Admin Menu, select User.

  3. Navigate to the user with the email you would like to re-purpose and click their name to view that user detail page.
  4. In the upper right of the user detail page, click the Lock Out button Lockoutuserbutton.png
  5. In the upper right of the user detail page, click the blue Edit button Edit_user_button.png
  6. On the User edit page, change the email to something generic (we recommend something like: fake[companyname]user{add a sequential number here}@[companyname].com, replacing [companyname] with your company's name)

  7. Click Savesavecheck.png
  8. You will now be able to create a new user with the original email address.
