Adding a User

Expanding your team? Follow the steps below to learn how to add a new user to your EnquireLEADS database.

 

  1. Navigate to the Admin Section by clicking Admin from the left hand menu.
  2. From the Admin Menu, select User.
  3. Click New User.
  4. Fill out the form with the new user's information.
  5. Click Save.

NOTE: After you have created a new user, they will receive an activation email that they can use to activate their account and create a password.

Now that the user has been created, lets give them a role and access to some communities.

  1. Click Add Community to add all or certain communities to this user's access.
  2. To add a role to the user, click Add Role.

Editing a User

Need to make changes to your team? Follow these steps to edit users in your EnquireLEADS database.

  1. Navigate to the Admin Section by clicking Admin from the left hand menu.

  2. From the Admin Menu, select User.

  3. Navigate to the user you would like to edit and click on their name to view their detail page.
  4. In the upper right of the user detail page, click the blue Edit button Edit_user_button.png
  5. Make the necessary changes then click the blue Save button to confirm your changes. Edit_User_Page.png

NOTE: We DO NOT recommend replacing names on accounts because it will affect all historical data for that account, for example, all activities will be updated to the new name on the account. We advise creating new accounts for new users. See below on re-purposing email addresses for your users.

Re-purpose a User email

EnquireLEADS requires that everyone has a unique email address. If you need to re-purpose an email on an existing user, follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to the Admin Section by clicking Admin from the left hand menu.adminloc.png
  2. From the Admin Menu, select User.

  3. Navigate to the user with the email you would like to re-purpose and click their name to view that user detail page.
  4. In the upper right of the user detail page, click the Lock Out button Lockoutuserbutton.png
  5. In the upper right of the user detail page, click the blue Edit button Edit_user_button.png
  6. On the User edit page, change the email to something generic (we recommend something like: fake[companyname]user{add a sequential number here}@[companyname].com, replacing [companyname] with your company's name)

  7. Click Savesavecheck.png
  8. You will now be able to create a new user with the original email address.
