Getting Started with the EmailBroker Using Enquire MAP

If  looking to track sales emails and MS Outlook emails, consider the Enquire MAP for Chrome extensions. Please connect with Enquire MAP Support for further assistance.

If using anything outside of MS Outlook or Gmail then Enquire MAP can offer a different tool for you! The EmailBroker.

Introduction

The Enquire MAP EmailBroker is a simple solution for integrating the platform into current work processes. By sending the customer interaction emails through Enquire MAP's EmailBroker, the User is able to automatically:

  • Add contacts to the Enquire MAP Database.
  • Add dynamic marketing offer messages and HTML formatting to the typical customer email .transactions.
  • Track customer interactions with emails sent.

This process is seamless and invisible to your clients.

The Basics

As an Enquire MAP customer, a unique Enquire MAP broker email address is assigned to you. This special email address is where all communications that Enquire MAP needs to process before sending on to the prospects.

Once Enquire MAP receives the email, the platform logs the contact information into the marketing database, adds special formatting and tracking codes to the email, and then passes the email on to the intended recipient. Simple!

How Do I Use It?

Start by creating a contact in the address book using the Enquire MAP email address as the contact information. We used the contact name EnquireMAP Broker as the contact name.

The Enquire MAP email address should be of the format:

EnquireMAP_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX@enquiremap.me

It is a long and cryptic email address that is unique to the User and can only be used by them from an authorized email account. This email address can be found on the account profile settings (Click Name in the top right of MAP, then choose 'profile settings'. Scroll down, there is a tab next to Activity called Contact Details. There is a box called Trusted Domains, the email address will be displayed in this box:

Each employee of the selected account will have their own unique email address located in the same place on their contact details screen. As a security measure, Enquire MAP will only accept emails:

  1. That have been sent from the email address listed on you (or an employee's) Contact Info box on your profile. This email must be on the same contact as the Enquire MAP email address.
  2. That the email domain the email is from is listed in the 'Trusted Domains' box. To add a trusted domain to the contact, click the 'Add Trusted Domain' button on the 'Trusted Domains' box. Add the domain that your email server resides on .com

If  using Google Apps, please add google.com as well.

Now, whenever sending an email to be processed by Enquire MAP, send the email directly to the Enquire MAP email address.

How does Enquire MAP EmailBroker know where to send the email? The first line of email’s body text needs a “To Tag”. The “To Tag” is stripped from the email you sent and is used in the re-direction of the mail.

The format of the “To Tag” is:

[First_Name1 Last_Name1 Email_Address1, First_Name2 Last_Name2 Email_Address2]

Thus in this case the email being sent is to Mary Smith at the email address mary@somedomain.com. If there is more than one recipient, separate them using commas. Each recipient will get an email that looks like it was addressed to only one person (the recipient).

The Body Text is typed after the “To Tag”. All Body Text is extracted from the email and sent on to the client. Any web page URLs that appear in the Body Text will be replaced with trackable links. The complete email will be wrapped in a new HTML body that includes marketing information relative to your business.

To CC a person on the email, add a CC line to the email. The format of the “CC Tag” is:

CC[First_Name Last_name Email_address]

If there is more than one person to CC:

CC[First_Name Last_name Email_address ; Second_First_Name Second_Last_Name second_Email_Address ]

This line is directly below the “To Tag”. It should look like this:
